About Me

Hi, I'm Bess (she/her/hers) and I'm a Fight Director and Intimacy Choreographer for stage and screen in DC, Virginia, and Maryland. While I started my work in the arts as an actor, I quickly fell in love with physical story telling and have been choreographing stories of love and violence in the DC area since 2018. I am also an educator: I teach stage combat at different national workshops and am on staff at STC's Academy MFA Program as the Assistant Combat Instructor and In-House Intimacy Director.
